BEDROOM DETAILS

After some ladies asked me for a link to buy my cute floral bedding, I decided I might as well make a full blog post including links to some of my bedroom details! I love getting suggestions and questions from readers, even about tiny details they see on my instagram stories! My mom gave me this bedding as a gift for graduating with my bachelor’s degree! I absolutely love the bright colors underneath the clean white duvet cover. You can shop the sheets here and the comforter here! I love the texture of the comforter because while it is very bright and clean, it also adds a nice texture the room.  

A few months ago, I had a much smaller bedside lamp that was a light blue, but I never loved it. I realized I was just keeping it because I had always had it. I don’t like to keep things in my house that I don’t really love, so I finally decided to replace it with one that I actually loved. This one was only 20 dollars and it is so much prettier and brighter than my last lamp! You can shop it here!

I always choose white curtains just because I love the light airy look they give to a space. I have had this curtain rod and these curtains for about 4 years now. Since the curtain rod is extendable, it has fit perfectly into each place I’ve lived. Unfortunately, my curtain rod is no longer listed on the site, but here are some others that I love here and here! Luckily, you can shop the same curtains here.

The tiny stained-glass sun-catcher tulip was a thrift store find! I watched a woman pick it up across the aisle and I waited in painful suspense while she considered it! I was ecstatic when she put it down. Then I reached right over the shelves, grabbed it, and took it home with me! It had a broken hook, but that didn’t matter to me because it was just way too cute! I will do a separate blog post about these frames that I gave a little makeover to in order for them to house some photographs I took a few years ago. I found this cute fan on sale 70% off when the K-mart closed in my neighborhood! You can shop similar ones here and here! You can also shop similar macramé here. I absolutely love my house plants (I have 7 which is probably way too many!). Having a way to hang one helps clear up some floor and table space throughout the rest of my house.   

I have had the same desk with me throughout two of my moves. It is light and easy to travel with. I decided that this ghost chair wouldn’t take up very much space because it is lightweight, and the clear color gives the illusion of continued space. .

The shelves in my bedroom are a great storage space. I keep all of my earrings on a little jewelry chandlier that looks pretty and whimsical. You can shop some cute ones here and here.

I also collect glass dishes and vases, so I use the top shelf to hold most of my collection. I found these twinkly lights online, so I dispersed them throughout the vases to give them a little extra glow. They bring me so much joy!

I got some messages after I first posted this blog post asking what this tiny picture frame had in it. It’s actually a tiny sloth that my boyfriend drew for me in the beginning of our relationship. He thinks sloths are cute and used to call me a sloth. He thinks it’s kind of a compliment, and I don’t necessarily agree… but I do adore the sloth slippers he got me for Christmas this year. Later, I went back and took a closer photo so you guys could see that it’s actually super cute! Seriously, it’s even holding a tiny flower!
